Etomite CMS

    Etomite is a simple CMS enabling data management on-line with a simple administrative panel. We recommend it especially for company websites. The interface is very comfortable.

Main strengths of Etomite:

• Free support – discussion board with answers to questions and solutions to problems. Despite its young age. Etomite has got a very developed international community.

• Small size – default instalation takes only a few MB on disk and, additionally, about 0,5 MB in the database.

• Friendly links on start – Etomite does not require istallation of additional components to have friendly links, it has them built-in. A few mouse clicks and a change of name in htaccess file (attached by the authors of CMS) will activate them. On some servers, htaccess file requires additional configuration, but enables friendly links on servers on which others cannot activate this option.

• Unlimited functionality – with the help of instertions in PHP (snippets) and in HTML (chunks) and templates, we can increase the functionality of our website to an unlimited extend. Many of insertionts in PHP (snippets) can be found on Etomite's homepage. However, writing new insertionts will not be a problem even for a beginning PHP programmer.

• Compatibility with web standards – Etomite CMS is compatible with W3C and XHTML 1.0 standards. It does not contain tables. It has a mechanism of flexible templates management, thatnks to which every page can have different design. Every subpage written in Etomite can be exported into HTML. Etomite surpasses other CMS mainly because of its limited technical requirements.
